Principal's Message

Dear Carmichael Elementary families & community,

 

Welcome to the 2024-25 school year at Carmichael Elementary!

I am so excited for another great school year here at Carmichael. 

I look forward to working together to provide an excellent school year for our students. Our goal is to work collaboratively as a community so that students can learn, be successful, and prepared for an ever changing world. We welcome and encourage all families to participate in their children’s education as much as possible. Families can stay connected by communicating through Talking Points, checking the Carmichael website, following Carmichael on Facebook, reading our Cougar Chronicles newsletters and listening to phone messages. Please make sure that we have your current email address and phone numbers on file so that you can receive these notifications. We encourage families to join our School Site Council (SSC) or attend the meetings. Families are also encouraged to attend our English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) meetings. 

Student attendance is critical to student success. We start school at 9:00 am, which means that our campus is not open for drop off until 8:20 am. Please keep everyone safe by following the drop off and pick up procedures that are outlined in our Carmichael handbook on our website. 

Our incredible Carmichael Elementary teachers and support staff are committed to addressing the needs and skills of all of our students. We pride ourselves in building relationships with students and their families. If you ever have questions or concerns, please contact the staff.
